Millie's first Christmas

Our arrival at the airport 6.30am Christmas Morning. We caught Santa on his way to Fiji. Mila liked his fuzzy beard.

She wasn't born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but it didn't take long for her to put one there......

Motherhood is........

sometimes mistakenly diagnosed as hypothyroidism
having the best stock of band-aids and ice-packs in the neighbourhood
knowing that baby-proofing is a myth.
allowing extra time when going out because you know something will spill, fall, bleed, be lost or need the toilet.
Having biceps AND bingo arms.
using the term 'Don't cry over spilt milk" literally
savouring that first hot sip of coffee in the morning because the rest of your sips are going to be cold.
finding a trip to the dentist relaxing.
eating a lot of half-eaten fruit.

using baby puke as hair product.
using your kid as an excuse to make blueberry pancakes for breakfast
