Pool time.

So Spring has sprung and although I have only started swimming this week, Mila has been for a month already. She will just waddle up to the edge and slide in onto the step and play in the shallow end, clothes and all. Take note;
a disposable non-swimmer nappy sucks up half the water in the pool. Here she is getting busted.

Well hello pretty lady reflection in the water....

Oh darn it, Mummy is watching....

Water feels good, time to jump in with all my clothes on.

Daddy to the rescue.

Fun in the sun with mum.

Time for a snack on the deck....

It is always nice to have a smoke after a big meal.

Time for Mila to don my sunnies.

Lookin' cool.

"I'll give you back your sunnies if you let me give you a kiss"

"Smoooooch!"

Awwwww, lotta love

Sunday Funday

Last Sunday we met up with the Frigards in the park for Doughnut Sunday. A little swing time, a little shuffle in the sand pit and Mila's first go at American football. It was super fun.

Kendra educating Mila on what this "oval" ball was all about.

"I'd rather be on the swings please....."

"OK Mila, I need you to fill this bucket up and bring it to me, I am going to be busy thinking on the wall"

Aneka...thinking.....

Mila hard at work.

"yep, looks good!"

"Here you are Aneka, all done!"

After all that hard work it is time for a ride on the swings with Mummy.

Next is a little one on one football lesson with Daddy.

Off to a slow start.....

Now she's a movin' and shakin'

Touchdown!

And a little Victory Dance with the ball.

Test run in the soon to be playroom.

Bit by bit the construction of the house moves along. It seems a long time ago when I brought Millie home and we had no floors, living room or kitchen and here we are. The last big room to work on is this room. As soon as it has new floors and baseboards it will be transformed into a playroom/reading room/art and music studio.....hmmm how that will all come together I don't know, but we will have to see. Anyway, Mila has been banned from this room until now so you can see her excitement when I finally let her have at it.

The balcony off the reading room, you can see by that cheeky look she is already thinking about jumping off the balcony into the pool.

Her happy dance...and it doesn't even have floors or furniture yet.

Mila's Great Great Grandmothers couch. It has springs in the base, in the backs and in the cushions......it is very bouncy and she likes it.

Hi!
