Never too young to shop.

Kendra and I spent the afternoon at the outlets, with our little munchkins of course.
Pics courtesy of Team Frigard.

"oh, that is soooooooo your colour Aneka"

Ava was hiding in the clothes and Mila was trying to find her.

Time to relax on the slides...

Or off the slides.....

"hi there"

Aneka fearlessly scaled the ladder

Not so much scaling for Mila.....

Tolay Fall Festival

On Saturday we headed up to Petaluma to the Tolay Fall Festival with the Frigards. Kind of made us wish we had a country estate.

First stop was the Haybale Maze.

When you get to the middle you have to climb the hay pyramid. The girls did it in no time.

Mila covering her tracks so no one can follow her thru the maze.

Time for a hay-ride.

The hay ride took us to the pumpkin patch.

It was a race to find the best pumpkin.

Mila on the hunt.

Found one!

"Here Daddy, you carry it!"

Mila pretending to be a scarecrow.

Time to say hi to Bella the Palomino....they really liked each other.

There was a saddle on a hay bale that the kids could sit on.....Mila couldn't get it to do anything.

Father, daughter portrait.

Farmer Mila and the Frigirls.

What a pack of animals......

The highlight was most definietely the goats and donkeys.

"Can I please, please, please, please have one Daddy?"

Mila the Donkey whisperer.

Time to say goodbye. Mwah!

"and goodbye to you"

"and goodbye to you too"

Mila meets cousin Ada.

"Well, come here and give your big cuz a hug...."

"Well aren't you adorable.."

Hanging out poolside.

Mila's hands looked huge next to Ada's.

Mila found plenty of time to bother cousin Otto too.

We thought she was going to catapult Ada out of the bouncer....Mila is not known for being delicate.

When no-one was watching Mila thought she'd sneak a dip in the pool.

Nothing but a lazy afternoon.

"Hmmm, plans changed and I have a free afternoon.....what can I get up to?"

Any cash in that pocket Daddy?...Nope hmpf"
"Perhaps a little gardening?"

"la le la le la"

"Perhaps a little deer-watching with Daddy...."

"and a nice slice of watermelon to top it off"

Mila's first trip to the zoo.

With Mila showing more of an interest in lions and tigers, we thought she might enjoy a trip to the San Francisco Zoo. As it turned out, the lions and tigers weren't doing much lounging in the sun and were of little interest to her, but we still managed to find some fun anyway.

Walking in to the zoo.

The grizzly bears were sleeping too, but we were lucky that they decided to nap against the glass.

Restrained excitement.

"How do my plumes look?"

"Now how did the monkeys do it?"

"Oh yeah, this is how!"

Having a peek at the Giraffes.

Time to harass some poor peacock. She was relentless.

Having a race with Daddy.

By the time our day was done, Mila thought she had learn't enough that she could help out at the zoo as a guide.

Time to go home.
