Ava's fairy-tastic fourth birthday party.

June looking around to see if anyone is watching, you know she's up to no good.
June scored a balloon in her sneaky endeavours.
Mila trying to decide if she dare go on the bouncy castle while the rough boys are in there.
She's pretty proud of her balloon, she wandered everywhere with it....until it popped.

Mila looking grumpy because I mistakenly put her balloon in the balloon pit, here she is in the pit, trying to find it.

Mila and Ava strolling across the field.

We stumbled across this magnificent tree stump in the park, it was the perfect prop for a photo session with my girls, but we couldn't seem to get our act together.
Strike a pose modelista.

A biologist in our midst perhaps?

There's never a bad time to climb in June's world.

Mila is asking me to follow her under the log....er no thanks, that would involve bending.

Two little monkeys.

This log doesn't move much does it??

Balance beam practice.

I could not get them to look at the same time...too bad because it would have been cute.

Peek a boo!

Mila in the balloon bash.

Nice form Mila.

There is always room for cake.....especially rainbow cake.

Jill-O-Lantern.

After our lovely selection of giganto-pump, it was time to get creative.  Mila opted to not gut the pumpkin with me because the "spider-webs" looked yucky.  So once I had the pumpkin cleaned out, Mila got to work.

Armed with a sharpie, Mila let her creative juices flow.

Eyes....

Admiring her work so far.

"Ooops, I need to add a nose!"

It was a girl pumpkin apparently.

Time to carve.

The finished product

Pumpkin patch

It's not officially fall until we make a trip to the pumpkin patch. With the girls decked out in their sunflowers and pumpkin attire, we went pumpkin hunting.

"One for me and one for June"

Until she spotted the big pumpkins

"I'll have this one right here!"

"nothin' wrong with my leg, I'm just B-boy limpin'"

Just hanging on the farm.

I'll take that scarecrow please!

Not the most ladylike way to pick up a pumpkin.

Mummy's little sunflower.

This play house is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

The girls picking their pumpkin.

June opting for a more manageable size.

"ooooh it's heavy, but I think I can do it"

"yep, I can do this...."

"doh, no I can't...too heavy"

And it isn't over until we get a jump on the bouncy castle.

Game face

Hungry hippo

Summer time blues.

June will cry every time I sing Summer time.......at least I think it's the song and not my singing.

Do de rubber duck.

This is back from September 8th, so it's old footage in baby years, it it is still super cute footage.

Park pics.

These are just some random pics from a stop at the park amidst me running errands.
In the car, does it get any cuter than this?

She's a climber

No fear.

America's modern version of a see-saw, not half as fun as the real deal. No one plummets to the ground when their partner gets off or gets catapulted over the handles if the weight ratio is off. The girls seem to like it though.

Trick and Treat, you decide which is which.

Owl always love you.

A few weeks ago we hosted Brooke's baby shower.  It was for a gender neutral party and Brooke has a thing for owls so Mila and I got busy with a little owl-a-thon.  Mila picked out this vintage fabric with the owls and hearts and we used that as a starting point for our owls that we made out of felt and buttons.  The fabric was used for table runners and bunting.

The colour palette.

Our production line.
The bunting was twine and wooden clothes pegs with the fabric and the the owls.
The spread.

Mila also made a little "friend", Logan.

They played so well together....too well, I think Logan is her new beau.
