Tolay Fall Festival

We joined the Frigards last weekend at the Tolay Fall Festival and festive it was.  There were baby chicks hatching, corn husk dolls to be made, honey sticks to be devoured, hay bale rides to take, pony races to win(pretend ponies), a hay bale maze to conquer and big fat Turkey legs and Caramel Corn to eat.  And let's not forget a trip to the pumpkin patch for Mila to pick out her very own pumpkin.

Hot red-headed mama with her red-headed bubba.
Blonde mama with her blondie bubba.

She insisted on wearing the owl hat because it matched her dress.  That's my girl.

Ava schooling the girls on how to select the right horse for the race.

On your marks, get set and GO!

Ava in the lead with Aneka and Mila neck and neck.

Ava wins, but make note that Aneka is the only one that has proper pretend pony riding form.

Off for a wander with daddy.

Yee Haw Bullseye!
Does Bullseye's head look a little small to you?

Two gals out on the range.

June asleep at the wheel.

"Good horse Blackie"

Everyone lining up to pat the llama.

Honey stick time.

Waiting for the Hay Bale ride.
Which pumpkin looks out of place?

Off to find the perfect pumpkin.

Nope, no, nope, no, no,no,no, not this one, nope, no, nope, nope no,no......

Eureka! I found it!

Here you take it Daddy, it's heavy.

Just like the shirt says, "Cutest pumpkin in the patch".

Sweet potato.
