Pants optional.

When you've got the right accessories, pants are not necessary

Mila's latest creation.

"Robot Death Star"

Pudding anyone?

At least she's using her spoon.

The only driving Daddy will allow.

Anton took Mila to the driving range to see if she was ready for him to send her off to the pros.  Not bad for a first timer.
Lovely form.

War wounds or clumsy clown?

Poor Mila had a string of injuries.  First she was bitten by something on her left cheek which she reacted really badly to and just as that was healing, she ran into a chair and got a black eye on the right.  Just as the black eye was dying down she managed to step on a bee and get stung and fall back under a stool and bust her nose.  This picture was taken before her two NEW black eyes had kicked in.

Sprinkles in the park.

It was a hot day, so we met up with Kaitlin and her Mummy for some fun at one of our local parks that has a fun little water feature to play in.

June's first dentist visit.

June had her first dentist visit and Mila came along for moral support.
Sitting in the chair together watching Curious George on the TV in the ceiling.
June practicing her toothbrush skills on the crocodile

Olympian June

It's never too early to start them training I say.

Two-tin' skuutin"

Great Googly Moogly.

You can never be too safe when taking a bath with your splashy sister.

Robots.

We recently tiled the back wall by the pool and had dozens of these boxes left over, so Mila got to work and built a few robots.  She appropriately named them R2D2 and C3PO

C3PO

Asleep at the wheel

Driving a boat can be tiring.  I don't think Uncle Bean would approve of sleeping on the job.

Owen turns five!

Owen, one of Mila's favourite beaus, turned five today.  He had an awesome party complete with jumpy castle, a treasure hunt and a pirate pinata.

Happy Birthday Owee!!!!!

Maxx filling Mila in on the treasure hunt rules.

Mila trying to keep up.

Deciphering one of the clues.

The grand prize was in the sand pit.  Even June jumped in to try and find it.

Chillaxin'

Time for a quick dip.

The girls on the right coming up with a pinata plan.

Owen having a bash.

Mila giving it her all, but no success.

After the pinata it was time for a cruise in the jeep.

June took Mila off-roading in her ATV

June took to the scooter like a duck to water.  I think we have a skater betty on our hands.

June trying to start the ignition with a kazoo.

My heart melts when I see these two together.

Do they make bike shorts for a toddler?

June  LOVES riding all the big girl bikes, she even tries to pedal, but she can't quite reach.

New hats!

Gramma knitted some new hats for the girls.  They loved them so much they even wore them in 40 degree heat.....that's celsius.

Fairy Princess

We went over for a playdate at Ava and Ella's today.  Shannon was practicing face-painting for a friends birthday party and Mila happily modelled for her.  You can still see her big black eye from running into the chair.

Aye Aye Sailor.

The beautiful vintage family sailor shirt once adorned by Grandpa Jim and his brother's is headed  to Canada for a photo shoot with the girl's second cousin.  I thought I'd snap some last minute photo's of June in it before it was boxed up.  Of course I couldn't leave Mila out of the photoshoot and luckily for her, she happened to have a Sailor dress in her wardrobe, thanks to Nagyma.
