Marin County Fair.

Today the girls and I took a spontaneous trip to the Marin County Fair.  We only had a three hour window before I knew I had a pre-nap meltdown coming, so we tried to squeeze in as much fun as we could.  Our first stop was the Ferris Wheel.  Mila had missed out riding the Ferris Wheel at Disney land and I felt really bad because it was one of the things she really wanted to do, so now was my chance to make it up to her.  Of course when we got in line, the height limit was 42" which meant she was 1/2" shy of being able to ride it.  To make up for it I let her get her face painted instead.

Sitting VERY still.

Fairy princess.
We were so fortunate to meet up with Maxx and Owen who were there with their cousins. This was a huge bonus because it meant that Mila had friends to ride with now.
First stop was the caterpillar rollercoaster. Mila is in the second to last car with Maxx and Jenn.

Loving the thrill with her arms in the air.
Poor June was too short.

Next were the spinning bears......
Not surprisingly, their bear was spinning far more violently than any of the others.

A little bumpy off-road driving was on the agenda.....
followed by a leisurely swing....

amped up with a hot motorbike ride, wheelies included.
June was justifiably a little grumpy about the fact that she couldn't go on any of the rides.

Ice-cream break out of the hot sun.

June patting a baby goat in the petting zoo.

Mila sharing a little love with a Llama.

It's grooming time in the petting zoo.
