Destination Disneyland - Day 2

After a good nights rest, we were ready to take the day on. The girls dressed up in their personalised Minnie ears from Teta Rere and Mummy and Daddy filled to the brim with espresso shots, we took the monorail into Tomorrowland, (yet another bonus of staying at the Disneyland Hotel).

Mila stared in awe as we whizzed through Disneyland on the Monorail.
June looking cute in her ears was still a little sleepy.
First stop. Yellow submarines and the Nemo ride.
June and I took on the Alien's in the Astro Blaster. June was asleep so I had to shoot for the two of us.
Captain Mila and Co-pilot Daddy also battled the Aliens.
We stopped at the Enchanted garden to say hi to Snow White.
And Mummy's favourite, Cinderella.
Princess hugs.
Into the legendary castle that Mila has seen at the beginning of every Disney movie she's ever watched.

A quick spin on Galahad.
June LOVED the carousel and cried inconsolably when we got off.

"I wish, I wish, I wish, I wish.........."
Teacups were part of Mila's plan from the beginning.

Here we go!
June was asleep again......she's the lump in front of me.
After a spin on the Alice in Wonderland ride we stopped by the White Rabbit's house for some tea, but he was late.

Time to stop at Mickey Mouse's house.
"Say Cheese!" Pardon the pun.
The girls trying to hot wire Mickey's car.
Busted.
Daddy got to take Mila on the Star Wars ride so Mummy got to take her on the Roller coaster.
A quick rendezvous with Goofy.
And then an attempt to hot wire Goofy's car.  It looks like Goofy hit the bottle a little too much before he drove home last night.
We got front row for the Jungle cruise.  Having cute kids pays off every now and again.
Time for the parade.  A nice lady from Washington saved this special seat for Mila in the front. Thanks Mandy if you read this.
Mila waved at every single person in the parade.
Ahhhh yes, the princesses.
Time to take the train across town.
It's a small world.
Finally she's awake for something.
June LOVED this ride too, she danced the whole time.

I found these little fairies in Pixie Hollow
She didn't like the bumpy mushroom, this one was much better.
Tree house time.
Over the swinging bridge.
And up the rope.

After we rode the Pirates of the Caribbean ride we thought it fitting to eat in the Pirates restaurant located in the middle of the ride.  For the record, they do not serve Pirate food there, but they have a delish Gumbo. As we came out, we stumbled across the Fantasmic show erupting across the river boats carrying the princesses past us which was AMAZING! It was a musical extravaganza where the forces of good and evil battle it out in Mickey Mouse's dreams.  The effects were surprisingly realistic which was a good and a bad thing.  Mila was scared by the witches and dragons and couldn't  grasp that it was fake.  In fact if you ask her how Disneyland was, she will always begin with I was scared twice.  Once on the waterslide and once by the witches.

Checking out the show on Daddy's shoulders.
